Dr Terrina Dickson has pursued both a Surgical and General Practice career. She currently works as a locality surgeon in Lothian and Midlothian and is also the main Vasectomy Surgeon in Lothian.With over 8yrs experience as a hospital practitioner within the Dermatology department at the Royal Infirmary, Dr Dickson developed a particular interest in skin lesions and tumours and subsequently undertook the year long Cardiff diploma course in Practical Dermatology. Dr Dickson has undertaken a three-month Cardiff Dermoscopy Course meaning she is well placed to see and treat most Dermatology related issues. Where required, she is able to refer to Consultant Dermatologists for prescriptions such as Roactine. Working with the Lister Institute she has developed both Dermatology and Minor Surgery Courses for NHS Primary Care. Dr Dickson has also written numerous articles for Mims Dermatology for General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners.Dr Dickson’s current posts include:•Locality Surgeon in Lothian Minor Surgery Service based at Leith Community Treatment Centre.•Locality Surgeon at Midlothian Minor Surgery Service based at Bonnyrigg Health Centre.•Locality Vasectomy Surgeon based at Leith Community Treatment Centre and St John’s Hospital.
